WE’RE A BIG FAMILY OF PASSIONATE PEOPLE

Southern Italy throughout the ages has been a stomping ground for a wide array of different cultures. The Greeks, Romans, Muslims, Normans, Germans, French and Spanish have all battled over this region in the hopes to access its trade ports and flourishing farm lands. With all these different cultures flowing through the country; Southern Italy has become a melting pot of flavors and cuisines from those who have left their mark. However, impoverished by war and drawing from those different cultures, the people of Southern Italy improvised to make their simple dishes elegant, delicious and long lasting. The regions of Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia provide bountiful rich spices including oregano, cumin and fennel as well as an abundance of seafood and lush vegetables that make the whole of their dishes. At Peno, we stick to our Italian roots while also leaving our own mark as so many before us, embodying the “soul” of Southern Italy. Savor the experience of the new southern Italian soul food.

    Wild mushroom, roasted tomato, crispy capers, extra virgin olive oil, brown butter, black eyed peas.

  • Pizza Pepe

    Spicy chicken, escarole, wild mushroom, calabrese chile oil, fresh ricotta, oven roasted tomato.

  • Don Michael Pizza

    Anchovies, sardines, capers, toasted breadcrumbs, tomato gravy.

  • Pizza Vidore Miste

    Cauliflower pesto, roasted peppers, spinach, mixed olives, local sourced goat cheese, fresh basil, and oven roasted tomato.

  • Giuseppe Pizza

    Handmade Italian sausage, roasted red pepper, spicy tomato sauce with raisins, pine nuts, fennel, fresh ricotta and mozzarella, topped with basil oil.

  • Roberto Pizza

    Brown butter, extra virgin olive oil, roasted Sicilian potato, wild mushroom, pecorino, fontina, fresh goat cheese, with toasted pistachio breadcrumbs.
